Ok my baby had quite a day yesterday, luckily unusual for this one, my other ones were always crying and always needy. Matisyahu usually cries for a specific reason, and ladies, please trust your mother's intuition, you know exactly what your baby needs. Check out this article below which talks about how nowadays women are scared to make a decision without expert advice, where sometimes the experts only know their own circumstances and situations, and the advice they give could have nothing to do with your baby. Every mom is different, every baby is different, every pregnancy is different, every birth is different - ask everyone, but ultimately make your own decision mamas!

The morning was ok, I dropped off the kids at school and headed to my hot mama walk, he was a bit fussy in the car but fell asleep on the way. The beginning of the walk he was sleeping, but once he woke up, the crying would not stop. First I put him in my carrier facing forward, that seemed to amuse him for a while, but I knew I needed to change his diaper, luckily we were at the halfway point and ready to turn back, so I told the other girls to go, and I would change him. I tried to put him back in the carrier, no go, so I stopped by a tree and tried to nurse him, wasn't interested. So I put him back in the car seat and that is the picture you see above, and of course that is when people are walking by and you see their faces wanting to say:
1. Did you feed him
2. Did you change him
3. Does she know what she is doing
Of course everyone else has the answers right, especially mother in laws, who always say you haven't fed them enough. The article above talks about a mom who's doctor told her to have the baby on a strict eating schedule, and the baby was so unhappy, they thought it was colic, when finally the doctor's secretary told her, maybe he is just hungry.
The best advice I got from a fellow mom was, sometimes they just cry, they are expressing themselves. Maybe their growing bones and teeth are super intense, or maybe their gas is intense, my baby had a few huge poops yesterday, Thank God. All we can do is be there for them, and let them know we will always be there for them. Just like when they get thrust into the world from the comfort of the womb when they are born into our crazy world, and they are put in our arms, and they know everything will always be ok, Mama will always be there, even when life is not so easy. But who wants easy, right? Easy is Boring, Lets celebrate all of the amazing souls and personalities that children bring to our lives, we are so blessed.
Ok Mamas! Your are right, You know exactly what to do, Your baby is safe in your hands :)
Have a peaceful Day of Rest, Have a Wonderful Weekend,
and tomorrow night on Tisha B'Av Have a Meaningful Fast,
Shabbat Shalom,
Yulia
