Revelation

I was thinking today that in anyone's journey to reach their goals, what is the reason they are doing it for? Also, isn't the whole point to feel healthy and full of energy wherever you end up?  I know some people are so focused on their career or family goals, and put themselves last, and in some cases that I know personally, there have been very dangerous, even fatal consequences.

In my business we always learn about a 90 day plan to reach our goals, what that 90 day plan is:

Doing the same thing every day for 90 days, therefore being consistent and committed to your goal will guarantee results.  I am committed to working out at least 3 times a week, I am committed to taking my vitamins three times a day, and shakes twice a day, I am committed to eating yummy, healthy food, and indulging here and there.  I have always been very firm about balance, it makes no sense to go crazy craving something, and denying yourself.  I think the stress alone will keep the fat on, and anxiety and stress definitely take away from the quality of life.  So go for it, have a drink, have a piece of cake at a birthday party, its what you do everyday that trains your metabolism to turn everything into dust :)

I caught a bit of the show "The View,"  health experts were on there explaining how dangerous it is for our organs to have excess weight.  The most interesting panelist was talking how about how it is possible to change your metabolism at any age, the women on the show were not happy with the answers, basically exercise and maintaining and building lean muscle mass.  For me this is very exciting news, anyone at any stage in their life can take control of their metabolism and make the decision to form healthy habits.

What I love most is that through this whole process, since I have started having kids, I keep on feeling better and better.  I still have 25 pounds to go, but my energy is amazing, and my digestive system is doing what its gotta do, isn't that the point?  I really don't get quick fixes that cut out, and sometimes drain energy, lack the nutrients our body needs to function at its best.

I feel blessed to have my nutrition program, my awareness, my gratitude, my family, my business,
MY LIFE :)
