Shabbat Shalom

This beautiful law and tradition that observant Jewish people have of stopping everything they are doing, and just enjoy every moment of the day, be grateful, thankful, and appreciate everything that you have.  It is so powerful, every other day we are creating, on the Day of Rest, we stop creating, and just revel in our achievements, family, and be present to the gift of life.

I went to a going away celebration yesterday of an amazing woman who is moving to Israel, and she had a speaker come, and it was very deep and very spiritual.  The gist of it was that this Shabbat is very special, and the learning that we do is all about the blessings we want in life, and this is a special time to go into your community, into the places where people gather, and take in the light, visualize and enunciate your goals, visions, and dreams.

In my Coaching business we have amazing trainings that teach us to be grateful everyday, have 30 minutes of personal development everyday, to get your head space in a positive place, so it takes you through the rest of the day.  Although I feel this is very valuable, the once a week total immersion into a spiritual and peaceful place makes such a difference in your every day life.

I feel very peaceful this morning, usually I have a million things I want to get done, and feel overwhelmed in the moment.  I just had my delicious chocolate peanut butter breakfast shake, the older kids are playing, the baby is hanging out on the floor, loves it just like his Yoga mama :)  I have a moment to write my thoughts before the day runs away from me.

Today there is a lot to do before Shabbat, and on my to do list is to take Yoga with my amazing 80 year old teacher, Raghavan, and then get my hair done with my talented and fabulous hairdresser Glenda.  I have a busy weekend after Shabbat of baby showers and a huge training on Sunday, I will be gone all day, God bless my husband for supporting me and hanging with the kiddos.

Sunday night I am starting an evening community Yoga class, LIFE IS GOOD EVERYDAY.

Wishing everyone Peace, Respect and Accept Yourself, and Grow,
Shabbat Shalom,
Yulia
