Crack of Dawn

OMG! No matter what time my kids go to bed, they are such early birds, today I think it was even before 6am, and the night was tough.  My daughter and my baby both are a little congested, so they kept on waking up.

We have plans to go to the Santa Monica Fit Club that I run with my fellow coaches, I love taking the kids to the beach.  We bring their sand toys and they have fun playing while I meet my clients who come to work out.

Once I am with the kids, I am automatically 100% with them, I cannot really focus on anything else.  I am amazed at people that actually get things done with kids, yes I take them to work with me, and we had a great time, but they are my priority, no matter what else needs to be done, I am theirs, and this is draining at times.  Sunday used to be a day full of work and classes and events, now I find that it is free, I want to fill it full of fun for the kids.

Today at the beach workout it was cool to see a lot of kids, older than mine, probably 7-10 years old working out side by side with their parents.  It literally seemed like the whole beach was ours, 300+ people really made passersby go, what is going on over there, and how can I be a part of it.  I am always in awe of the amazing positive energy of my fellow coaches, everyone is working to be their best as well as inspire others to do the same.

Somehow I got everyone to take a nap again today, they are still sleeping, so I have a minute to write. Thank God the camera did not wake them up :) God Bless them when they are sleeping, so sweet, so peaceful.  Now what to do for the rest of the day?  May I and everyone else only have problems like this!  Have a wonderful rest of your weekend everyone.  I am ready to jump back into my workouts tomorrow, after seeing all the eye candy on the beach, I am ready to WORK!

Blessed

Today was the perfect way to spend the Day of Rest, took my kids to the synagogue where they go to camp during the week, they had a blast, my baby was resting most of the time.  I got to connect with a lot of interesting people, I love talking to pregnant moms and people ready to take their health into their own hands.  I feel so blessed to be able to serve my amazing community, Thank God, babies are a way of life, so there is always a need for advice, guidance, and care.

I was talking to one amazing woman about getting married in the late 30's and being ready to meet your other half.  It was very powerful, in our community, many of the girls are married in their early 20's, so there is such a range of moms.  I love assisting young moms and first time moms, allowing them to realize that our body knows exactly how to birth, to research and have the birth they want, refer them to all of the options available.  I also love showing moms with multiple kids, that you have to take care of mama, or how is mama going to take care of everyone.

It felt good to have people notice that I am slimming down that haven't seen me in a while.  I am really working hard, and staying focused and committed to my goal.  I want to be the example of the right way, consistency, finding what you love to do with exercise and activities, finding a way to eat that fits your lifestyle.

When we got home in the afternoon, we all took a nap together in our king size bed, baby was in his bassinet.  Perfect, when we woke up we had something to eat, the kids had fun playing, and just went to sleep a little while ago.  Thank God my older two are exactly like my brother and I, they are never bored, they always have each other, and they have a blast together, they miss each other when they go to separate classes.

Thank God for it ALL,
Yulia

My Boys

Every Woman is different, Every Pregnancy is different, Every Birth is different, Every Child is different.  In my experience, my amazing, strong, beautiful lady Ziona Sofia is super intense.  She knows exactly what she wants to wear, what she wants to eat, where she wants to go, it is amazing, at 2 years old, she is the boss.  My husband and I are both the oldest in our families, so we have always been leaders, although our siblings are all leaders as well.  My daughter is tough, nobody will be able to mess with her, she will get exactly what she wants out of life, its awesome, but as her mom, its not easy to be with that personality day in and day out.

My oldest son is very sensitive, not only emotionally, but to sounds, to being talked to a certain way.  He is also the biggest helper and always looks out for his sister and little brother.  So that is another challenge, to make sure to word things in a way that will not hurt his feelings, to explain everything, but to also be smart to give him choices, where the choice he picks will be in my favor.

So far my baby is a nice baby experience for me, he literally tells us what he needs, otherwise he is just hanging out.  He recently started smiling all the time, and we are all loving how cute and sweet he is.  He gets kisses from all of us all of the time, he is really going to bring all of our intense personalities together, and have us all just chill out and enjoy the moment - Thank God!

Just came back from an amazing Yoga class with my teacher, felt so strong.  Kids are in camp, baby is sleeping, feeling good about everything in life - B'H

Happy Weekend,
Shabbat Shalom,

Baby Phat

My little man enjoyed our Hot Mama Power Walk so much in the fresh air, he fell asleep in the palm of my hand while I was supporting his head in the carrier.  Yesterday was a non stop day, and squeezing things in, and today is also a day of running around, I finally have time to sit down and write.  Speaking of squeezing things in, I am fitting into my clothes much better, and when I did my measurements, I lost an inch in my hips and and inch in my thighs.  So its definitely moving, of course I wish it would happen yesterday, but I do love being the example of someone real.  I have committed to some kind of exercise Monday through Friday, I have committed to having my shakes twice a day and my omega 3, calcium, and multivitamin, and cell activator and celluloss three times a day.  What I do know is that I feel great, and although I am not sleeping like I would like too due to my wonderful Matisyahu, I still have energy to make it through my day.  I usually hear that in the first month you are forming habits, and your body is just figuring out that this is something that you are going to keep doing.  So I hear a lot that the big results come in the second month lately, so I am very excited for this month of August, just sticking with my workout plan and with my Nutrition Program and having my body finally GET IT :)  I also think that while I am nursing my body may be holding on to fat, each woman is so different.  I have seen a few women that have stopped nursing completely lean out, so we will see.

Baby fat is cute, my son has the best thighs and double chin, that is the only place where its cute, I am OVER IT.  Luckily a few people are noticing my face lean out, and overall that I am getting leaner, so that is a good thing.  We are always our own worst critic, and when I look in the mirror, I actually see that its getting better, but then I see pictures of myself and I say, Oh no who is that - LOL!

You see my friends, before babies, I was that person that actually did look her best, although I was tired all the time.  So now that I have the combination of my workouts and my nutrition, I am ready not only to look my best, but feel more energy than ever before, even with 3 kids under 4 :)

I was just talking to my husband about how even though we make plans and schedules, and then life happens, we still have to pat ourselves on the back for what did go well, for accomplishments that we did make.

Be your own Cheer Leader,
If you do not take care of yourself, who is going to do it for you?

My Office

This is the best part of what I do, comfortable, with my baby by my side, able to have my Herbal Green Tea Concentrate with Mango Aloe Vera, a yummy snack of Avocado and Tomato, and keep an eye on my business on my laptop while sitting on my living room floor - I wouldn't have it any other way.

Feeling grateful to educators who have energy for our independent and free spirited children, who are in camp most of the day.  I woke up super early this morning with baby, everyone else is asleep, the picture above is from yesterday afternoon after I got back from my Hot Mama Power Walk.

The main word in my head today is consistency, even when you don't see exactly what you want right away, knowing that by sticking to it, you will get there, keeps me going.  I am talking about it all, my weight, my business, and even communication with family.  All areas need improvement, so I just keep checking that on a consistent basis I am sticking to my plan in place.  That is why for health and fitness goals it is so important to track your measurements, not only pounds, but body fat and inches, because a lot of different things are happening at once.  My weight is holding on, but my body fat and inches are dropping, so I know something is getting shaken up in there.

Kids came out at their usual 6am-6:30am call time, seriously folks, no matter what time we put the kids to bed, they spring out of their bed early and are on the go.  I think this will definitely serve them later in life.

Thank God For It All,
Coach Yulia

Male Bonding

I love being a strong woman, and the firstborn in my family, I have always been a leader and a teacher from a very young age.  I have also always been competitive and a high achiever, but when something didn't flow, I didn't have a problem moving on.

My mother in law had 3 kids boy-girl-boy, and she was very adamant that this was the only way it should be done.  Thank God for the universe granting her that wish, as well as my husband meeting a girl from Russia.  She is from the Ukraine, and we speak Russian to each other, and I love and know her food.  I didn't really have a preference for who came first, we were thrilled with our light haired, light eyed handsome Eli Tzvi with a deep dimple in his chin.  Then of course we wanted a girl, to even it out, and I remember when my parents and my husband and I saw it loud and clear in an ultrasound, we were thrilled.

My daughter has been an intense experience, she looks exactly like my mother in law, and has her fierce character.  Luckily she is balanced by also looking and being the happiest girl alive like my mother :)

So for our third we were hoping to be blessed with a tall dark and handsome boy, Thank You God we got the best, most handsome, sweet, nice, wonderful boy ever, we are all enjoying him so much.

My father was such an amazing influence in my life, I feel so blessed to be his daughter, and keep learning from him to this day.  I feel blessed that my children have two parents that adore them, I always knew I had to have a partner on this adventure called children.  Thank God my husband is so hands on, our kids love their Abba (father in Hebrew) and enjoy when he gives them baths and cooks them delicious food, I am one lucky lady.

I just got back from my Fit Club on the Beach this morning at 7:30am, followed by my Hot Mama Walk, I love living and being the example of someone working at it, because I know when you work at it results will come.  No quick fixes, no yo yoing, just forming healthy habits and living a healthy active lifestyle.  Who is in?

Selfish vs. Self Care

This Monday I am all about business, there are two days left in the month of July, we are in our last leg of summer, then its the holidays, then its the New Year - the cycles keep coming around.  Are you where you want to be?  Are you in the same place you were last year, the last five years?

This is my story of how I found Herbalife and how it has changed my life, it may do the same for you.  Luckily I come from a good genes, free spirited family who let me pave my own path in life.  We are Russian immigrants, so I have been working since I was 12, loved having my own money and being independent.  Once I moved to LA, I had to let go of my pride and accept my parents help while I was building my future.  Then getting married and having children completely threw me in a beautiful yet challenging direction, it was not just about me anymore on any level.

My father came to the USA with no language, and although he had a masters degree in engineering, he had to start from scratch washing toilets.  His motivation was his family, and his philosophy was "work hard now enjoy it later," but unfortunately later was just a word, he had a mild heart attack at age 60, and now Thank God, is the healthiest man I know.  Hence the title of Selfish vs. Self- care, its ok to take care of yourself, to take time off, to enjoy life's moments, otherwise you will burn out either physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.  There must be balance, and that is what I found when I met my Health Coach at our Active Nutrition Center.  Before I met her, I was 8 months pregnant with my second child, frustrated over how I was going to find time to exercise with to little babies.  Never really had a plan for eating, just ate whatever was around, and it worked before I had babies, everything just stopped flowing like it used to before.  I was excited that the Healthy Meal Shake filled me up during my ravenous third trimester, and I was even more grateful that after I had babies I had a plan to take care of myself, and get to even better than before baby shape.

I am on my journey now, it is definitely a commitment, it is not easy to always remember, but it does take 21 days to form a habit, and I am really focused on reaching my goals for my business, my family, but most importantly myself.  I have always been someone that like to be genuine, talking from a point of truth and personal experience.  I am so excited to turn 40, and be the example of health, happiness, and now I am really ready for wealth - are you?

People that I work with in Herbalife have gone to a six figure income in 1 1/2 years, sure they don't have kids, they jump into a full time schedule, even working Saturdays, which I do not do because it is my day of rest.  But I am committed to building it around my life and my kids, and teaching others to do the same.  After all isn't that what we all really want, a happy independent lifestyle, which gives us money to provide for our kids, but also to enjoy time with our family, vacations, staycations, and I have always seen a private jet in my future.  I am ready to focus, and here are the numbers, Herbalife in 30 years has made 5 billion, and the way the wellness industry is going now, they are looking to make another 5 billion in the next five years, I am jumping on that bandwagon.  The economy is horrible, and people are looking for alternatives to corporate, 9-5, minimum wage, and even masters and Phd degrees do not guarantee anything nowadays.

Who do you know that might want to hear more and join me at Extravaganza in October, it changed my life, it might change the life of someone you love, in their health or their wealth :)
