So ready for an amazing New Year

What a fabulous day, had an amazing private Yoga client this morning, got my head on right, went home picked up my baby and went to the gym to figure out what to do for my workout.  I took the most amazing Zumba class, connected with the teacher and a student in the class, excited to network with them.  Then raced home and got ready for my hair appointment with my son, I was getting color and style, and he was getting a cut.  The first picture is us a few days ago, he had a big grape in each cheek, and I had some roots showing :)  Now all clean cut, it is so hot here in LA, 94 F according to my car.  My amazing hair stylist, Glenda, knows how to give a great short cut that grows in nice like the first pic.  Yesterday he was born four years ago, amazing, it is all mind boggling.  It does go by fast, it is important to enjoy the moment.  He is so amazing, and in this new year, I know he will keep on growing, learning, and I know one day he will be a great contribution to society and the world.

After our appointment, I had one last meeting with my coach and mentor from Herbalife, just going over my action plan.  Now home, business is done, got a few things to do before Shabbat, and then rest before our New Year, Rosh Hashana on Sunday night.  The nice thing about the Jewish community, is everyone wholeheartedly wishes each other wonderful blessings.  I would like to wish all of my family, friends, and clients a year of success, health, and following your dreams.

Shabbat Shalom,
Yulia

Not Paying Attention

Oops I did it again!  I left early to lead my Hot Mama Power Walk this morning, and there is a sign, no right turn or left turn, big sign, always cops there catching people.  A few months ago I was thinking of a shortcut, made the left, cop pulls me over, it sucks, right in front of the Nutrition Club, I got so upset, started bawling, and handed him an expired insurance, he felt bad for me and gave me just a fix it ticket and a warning, that cost $25.  Today, I was feeling great, I am embarking on an amazing journey, really getting my life on a schedule that will flow with my day, that won't feel like an obligation, just living life as I do, and inspiring others to do so.  I had everything with me, decided to make a call on my bluetooth, got carried away into the coversation, and MADE THE RIGHT TURN, where the big sign says no right turn, I was just mindlessly following the car in front of me, and two cops one after another pulled us both over.  This time I was in schock, I couldn't belive I did that, there is another way to avoid that turn, and I vow from now on, I will just take the other route, not to have this happen anymore.

The cop just didn't care that I had my baby, that I was upset, he very nicely told me that I could do traffic school, but I told him my husband would care more about the money we have to pay.  If you read my blog on Monday, that was a parking ticket, totally forgot it was Monday when I read the sign.  It is so crazy how sometimes I am in a moment, but out of my head.  I was horrified how I would break it to my husband.  I had to lead my walk first, and my client and I started to talk about the law of attraction, and how powerful we are, and how if we are open, things show up.

When I got home for the first time since we got married, my husband was out of the blue skyping with my brother, I took the opportunity to tell my brother about the seminar I was taking, and how while I am working on getting all my to do's in order, I really messed up.  I figured if I broke it to my husband with my brother listening, he could digest it better.  Thank You God, it sucks, and we will have to deal with it, but its done!

In my Yoga classes I always encourage my students to stay present, to tell everyone and everything in their life to leave them alone for one hour.  If you don't make YOU time who is going to do it for you, how are you going to recharge for everyone and everything in your life?

In our NON STOP lives, the Yoga is an amazing way to just step off the world for an hour, if you live in LA and have never done Yoga, please get in touch, and if you live elsewhere, I have an amazing DVD/CD Combo, that 8 students of mine did with me leading the class, and everyone says it is exactly my class.  nutritioncoachyulia@gmail.com - 323.377.0707

I am excited about my seminar because it will specifically address time management for my life and my business.  That is what I have been  looking for, and looking for a long time now.  I took an amazing Personal Development seminar that helped me delved into how I operate, and work on how to share openly with people and how to be a good listener.  It helped me tremendously, but I was still all over the place, I have never really been in a corporate environment by choice, so this is a skill set that I need to learn to grow and make my business a success.

One of the amazing things I learned about myself in that seminar is that as much as I love to teach Yoga and make others feel good, I really do it for myself to turn off my own brain.  I am the gerbil, and when I teach I get off the wheel, forget about the kids, forget about the to do's and just focus on the energy in the room, and everyone feeling their best.  I recharge and re energize after my class, and it is so cool when my students get that powerful energy.  I got an email yesterday from one of my students who told me that the class in the middle of his hectic day really made a difference, changed his perspective and made him feel great.  It was the most beautiful thing to hear, it made my day, it makes me realize I am exactly where I need to be.

Find where you feel good,
Find where people appreciate you,
Find where you recharge,
Find where you make a difference,
Keep searching until you find it,

The benefits of going to a gym

This whole week is about figuring out my daily tasks that need to get done, and when to put them into my day.  One of my commitments is to do some kind of exersice Monday through Friday.  Somedays I have my schedule set, but then first thing in the morning, and I am happy people are letting me know, things get cancelled, rescheduled, just due to life.  So I am left with having to figure it out.

Same thing happened this morning, I had planned an early morning hike with my baby and a friend, to beat the heat, and she text me super early telling me it she couldn't make it, it was on the other side of town, so I decided to do a few other commitments I had in my schedule.  Took the baby to a checkup, Thank God everything is great, squeezed in a mani-pedi before Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, which starts this Sunday night.  Ran to my two Yoga clients, one after the other, came home and was exhausted.  I have not been sleeping deep, I think my baby might be teething, and I have a super late night tonight, not finished til my 9pm private Yoga class.  So I decided to take a nap, the baby was sleeping.  Now I realized I have to write this before I leave the house because I probably won't be back til 10:30pm.

Yesterday I decided to go to the gym, and was thinking about why a gym is the best choice:

1. You have access to a personal trainer to learn how to exercise correctly
2. You can take amazing, fun classes where you get a great workout and someone leading you
3.  The cardio machines tell you stats 1.5 miles 200 calories 20 minutes, resistance heart rate 150
4.  Beat the Heat, Thank God for Air Conditioning, where sweating doesn't feel so bad
5.  I was able to leave my baby at the kids club, which at this gym is open from 9am-9pm - YAY
6.  You are motivated by people working out around you

Of course as life happens I went to the 24 Hour Fitness Closest to me and their Kids Club closed at 11, I got there at 10:55am - the clock was a tickin' I had to be at my next gig at 1pm, so I fed the baby, went to the gym in West Hollywood, decided 20 minutes of intense cardio would do the trick.  I went on a new type of elliptical machine that felt like I was bouncing, but when I got the hang of it, it simulated running.  I definitely got my sweat on!  Tonight I am leaving the kids at home and going to squeeze in a Zumba class in between the Yoga class I am teaching at 6pm and my private yoga at 9pm.

Whoa! Getting it in my friends :)

At the pediatricians office, I picked up this awesome pamphlet about Nutrition and Exercise, take the quiz below, and see if you are where you want to be and where your habits are, then get in touch with me and we will make a plan for success.  nutritioncoachyulia@gmail.com - 323.377.0707

Tummy Tuck

My mom in the back with me blowing out birthday candles, my brother in the front being his silly self, my good friend in front, and some other good friends as well, look really close right under my ear, you will see my big, hairy birthmark :)

Thanks to good genes, I have never considered plastic surgery, and when I was younger was not into it at all.  I really believed you should celebrate yourself, one time when I was working on cruise ships, a lady told me that I was so beautiful, but I really should do something about my nose.  Luckily I love my nose, and told her I liked it just the way it was, I like being unique, exotic, different, just me.  Then when I was moving to LA and was thinking of pursuing acting, my father who loves every bit of me, suggested I consider a nose job because everyone in Hollywood looks the same, which is kind of true.  I however said, no, I want to make it as me, unique me, exotic me, had some fun trying music videos, movies, TV shows, its funny some people recognize me here and there, but nothing major.  I am happy about it, because as much as I have always been an exhibitionist, especially now I like to keep personal things to myself and my family out of the spotlight.  Funny I should say that writing this blog, but what I mean is dirt, headlines, all of the ugly stuff, the business of tabloids.  With this blog, it is just me reminiscing, inspiring, working towards a goal and happy to be held accountable by all of you.

Hence the title, I know a few people that have tummy tucks, and I totally respect their decision.  At this time, it is not for me, I want to be the example of the real woman who does not get back in shape overnight, not for lack of trying, but due to life circumstances, children, work, multiple pregnancies, it just takes time to get back #BBB better than before baby :)

Some people during the birth process really get the abdominal muscles destroyed, and even after c- sections, scars form, and maybe plastic surgery is the only solution that would attain the results they are looking for.

What I do not like is that in our society there is a fear of feeling, pain is a word that people automatically want to take out of their life, and so without research, talking to friends, and that their doctor only wants to work Monday through Friday and be home on weekends, many women with their first baby don't even try to be in the moment, and try, they are directed to schedule a c section and maybe even a tummy tuck after - OMG - LA - HOLLYWOOD.  It's hard to look at Victoria's Secret models on the runway 2 months after having their baby, looking flawless.  Honestly my friends, if we had a personal trainer, chef, and a stylist to make all of our clothes fit flawlessly, we would all look fabulous - not to mention in their 20's and first baby - most people pop right back.

Its how we eat and our activity level that determines how good we pop back, and that is what I am working on.  Healthy eating habits, workouts that I enjoy and make me feel good, I will get there, you will see :)

Back to the picture above, my father at 12 years old decided that as a girl, I needed to get plastic surgery to get my hairy birthmark removed.  He is very into looking his best and I thank him for giving me the gift of lifting my neck, it will probably help me keep on looking fabulous - lol.

To each their own,
Do what feels good for you,
There is no perfect, right, or wrong, there is just you and your choices,

This heat is frying my brain

Can we blame the heat, or the kids, or anyone else but ourselves?  It's all about taking responsibility for our actions, but today, it was just all out of wack.  I felt so good yesterday, wrote down everything that was on my mind, had a list with me, organized a schedule, went to sleep proud of myself.

Barely slept all night, I really think it is the heat even getting to the kids, my baby woke up every three hours, my oldest son told me his pillow was wet from his sweat, he is a sweaty kid, and my daughter wakes up at the bright and shiny hour of 5:30am.  Between the three of them, I was out of my bed all night.  Still felt good about my day, before I went to sleep a friend and I made plans to work out in the morning, I was going to fit it all in.

Everything changed, plans changed, my friends baby did not feel good, so our work out was off, two other appointments cancelled, so I decided to workout after my Prenatal Yoga class, in the hottest time of the day.  I have been yearning to go to Runyon Canyon, and I am so happy my baby was with my husband because it was hot as @#$%, OMG, I really don't know what I was thinking, actually I wasn't thinking.  I just had to get a workout in, I was halfway there from my Yoga class, Thank God I had water, but man, I really feel like I got heat stroke.  The worst part is what happened at the very end due to my NOT KNOWING WHAT DAY IT IS.  How could that be I planned this day so well, during the hike I was enjoying talking to people, took the picture that you see, do you see the blimp in the sky? I love things in the sky and have decided that for my 40th birthday, I want to go in a blimp with my family.  I am going to research a bit, and see if it is possible with baby and all.  Then there was this amazing breeze on the way down, my water was running low.  I finally made it, sat in my car, put on my A/C, prepared my Herbalife 24 Rebuild Strength post workout shake, and there it was looking at me from the windshield.  Yes my friends a parking ticket - SUCKS - I have been doing so well, haven't received one in a long time.  I actually looked at the sign, saw Monday 12-3, and decided it didn't pertain to me, and I got the ticket at 12:15pm - those parking guys are thorough!  The worst part was my imagining my husbands reaction, and that now it wasn't 40 something, it was $73 for a street cleaning ticket - OY VEY.

If only my schedule went as planned, I would have had my workout in the morning, and been at my afternoon gig at 1pm all refreshed from a cool morning exercise, instead I was huffing and puffing, red as a beet, jumped in the shower, still looked like a lobster, It's 5pm, and I still think I am recovering from the hottest workout in the sun in the world, no sleep, and girl stuff.

As it happens "What if's" could be said about anything in life, and everyone has their own what if.  So I am just going to take responsibility, and remind myself to read signs better, and not to workout in the hottest portion of the day outside in the hills that go up to the sun.  In half hour I have my first Next Level business seminar call, I will be part of this program for the next 3 months, and what happened today is exactly what I am going to tackle, transform, and turn into success.

Always got to have the positive view,
Coach Yulia

Smile

My son comes in to say hello and I tell him to smile :)
I have the kids all day today, I am sneaking this in as they are eating, Thank God the baby is resting, I tried to rest, but it was no use.  This morning we had a ceremony for a newborn boy, it was fun, tons of friends, fun for kids.  My kids wake up anywhere from 6am-6:30am, so it was great that it was early, I got home at 10:30am.  My husband is at a seminar all day, so I decided to go visit my mother in law with the kids.  We went to a park near her house, it was hot, I was hoping for exhaustion and them falling asleep in the car on the way home - NOPE!

We are almost home and I see a festival with a bounce house, great something to dangle, NOPE, they kept on saying they were going to rest, it never happened, I tried to rest with the baby, I heard their loud voices and stomping feet.  It would have been nice to see the street festival, but honestly it was more for the kids to get tired after that nap I was desperately trying to get them to take.  So we are staying home, I have house stuff to do, fold laundry, dishes, and once they go to sleep I have work to do to prepare for my week.

I try my best to be present, and not to think of what else I have to do when I have the whole day with the kids, but it is a big challenge.  It is almost 5pm, their bed time is 7pm, any earlier they would wake up before 6am - OY VEY!  Everyone tells me, enjoy it now, they only stay little for a little while, it goes so fast - I wonder if the mommies who have had 3 in a row give that advice:)

Then they come into our world, we get out of our head, and smile with their cuteness and wisdom.

Thank God for it all,
Coach Yulia

Web Cam Photo Shoot

I love when pictures capture the real you, here I am my friends, 100% me

I'm in my kitchen, lights turned off, nothing really on my mind, but everything on my mind, do you have moments like these?  This coming Monday I am starting a business seminar to learn how to get everything out of my mind, and into an organized schedule, so I can get things done with ease, at the right time, leave nothing in the mind that lives rent free :)

I used to be able to just keep things in my mind, and I guess it is a talent to multitask, but I have always just run around, and getting things done last minute is just not for me anymore.  Especially where business is concerned, I want to make sure all of my clients are taken care of, getting their needs met.  Some people take charge and actively ask me for support, others really need me to be their coach and accountability partner and keep them on track.  I feel so blessed to do what I do, I am grateful every day to be able to have my own schedule, time, and work on myself while inspiring others.

We just spent a nice relaxing today together as a family, and I am excited to get focused for the week.  Our Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana, starts Sunday night, so we will have a super long weekend of Shabbat and the fun of bringing in a new year of hope, goals, dreams, health, wealth, and success - AMEN!

New beginnings are wonderful, the good news is a new beginning could happen anytime you want it to.  We always have a choice to grow and transform, that is the beauty of life, we are really at the wheel.  When we tune in to our Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual, and find what fits in all of those categories, its magic.

There have been times in my life when one of the above was more of a focus than the rest, and the feeling might have been fun or challenging, yet incomplete.  I am honored and blessed to say that I really feel I have everything I have ever wanted, now I just have to water the seeds and nurture them as they grow in every area of my life.  It is a beautiful feeling, and I wish this feeling to all of you.  It all starts with asking yourself, are you where you want to be...Relationship, Career, and your connection to the Universe.  It all has to make sense to you, do your research, ask questions, trust the people you love, they will support you as you are finding your path in this life.

Surround yourself with people that you admire, people that love you for you, and where you can be 100% YOU.
