I had a few names for today's blog, and the close runner up was:
I always feel like somebody's watching me - (for those of you who like 80's music, it was popular)
So my thoughts were about how there are different levels of surveillance. The highest level is of course God, and depending on background, religion, culture, and beliefs that could mean different things to different people. Then there is our government, maybe not with a spy camera, but definitely through all of our technology can see our every step through our spending and living.
I really feel that one of the most important people that are always watching are our children, and they really are super models, like an actor, they memories line by line, and repeat it back, sometimes very colorfully. We recently had this experience, kids hear you say certain things, and then when they say it, you think, how did they get that in their head, only from mama and papa (along with others of course, teachers, friends, etc.)
Once we have children, we really do need to have a filter, to check ourselves, because they will do as we do, not necessarily as we say.
We are two weeks before our trip, excited, so much to do, so much amazing things going on while we are here. However now I am ready to step off the world.
Shabbat Shalom,
Coach Yulia
