Formula 1

Today's topic is all about the shake I have every morning and why.  My good friend and client sent me this pic in her text yesterday and I thought it just looked so yummy.  She started her shakes a few years ago and was able to fit into her high school jeans after having 2 kids.  Recently she contacted me again and said that she was happy with how she looked but wanted to restart the shakes again because she felt her body craved the nutrition and natural energy that it gave her.

I couldn't agree more, that is the exact same reason that I have my shake every morning.  I found Herbalife when I was 8 months pregnant with my second baby, my girl Ziona Sofia, and what I loved is that it filled me up, and I thought, wow, if it fills up a woman in her third trimester, anyone would feel satisfied at any stage of their life no matter age, weight, or circumstance.  Most importantly it just tastes so good  :)

Throughout the years it has just been my easy, yummy, affordable, and nutritious breakfast.  Scientifically it makes your blood sugar happy and even.  Most people have a carby, coffe, or no breakfast at all and it sends your body on a blood sugar roller coaster, where anything in your sight wants to be in your mouth, and usually unhealthy, sugary, and junk food kind of stuff.  The junk food and fast food is easy and cheap, honestly so is Herbalife, when you break it down a shake only costs $1.50 if you have it daily, the container is a 30 day supply.  The shake above I know for a fact is vanilla, so she must have added fresh or frozen berries.  I personally love chocolate on its own, with fresh strawberries, or my favorite peanut butter - YUM.  I really feel like I am having a treat every morning, and sometimes after my shake I might want something to chew on, which I do, but it is much less than what I would have put in my mouth without the shake, there is just no room in the belly after this protein and nutrient packed healthy meal.

Now that my baby is one year old I am ready to get my body back and with the 80% nutrition that I am getting with my shakes and eating balanced meals of protein and complex carbohydrates.  I am also going to focus full on the other 20% which is exercise.  The key to exercise is finding what you like, what is fun, and what you want to keep doing.  Of course athletes and people that are building mass have specific goals and are fueled by the results, we have a whole athletic line, for people that are serious about their workout and results, Herbalife 24, our Rebuild Strength which is a post workout Whey Shake, tastes like chocolate milk, and has L-Glutamine, Casein, and Amino Acids, it was named Top Post Workout Shake in Triathlon Magazine - YEAH.
