Shavuot was Tuesday Night

Can you please forgive me my readers? I had the words ready early, but was waiting for the perfect picture, and it got too late with my holiday that evening, SO SORRY, I guess this is the perfect picture right here, LOL!  Here is Tuesday's Blog:

It is not a well known holiday in American Culture, which is more familiar with Passover and Chanukah, and the High Holidays in the fall.  Chanukah is not even a major holiday, but because of its proximity to Christmas, it is more well known, and in some homes has added certain aspects like gifts.

Since I got married and became part of my beautiful community, there is rarely a day where there is not a celebration.  Shavuot is actually a major holiday, it is 40 days after Passover, when God gave the 10 commandments and the whole oral Old Testament to Moses.  The tradition is to enjoy dairy like cheesecake and ice cream, such amazing home made treats on this holiday.

We are excited to be with good friends tonight, and our kids are the same age, they will have a blast.

My daughter just had her first dentist appointment, and she got through it, but it wasn't easy.  She learned all about teeth, cavities, and dentists in school, Eli Tzvi was a champ, even got Xrays!

Later on my daughter and baby have a doctor checkup, I have one last class to teach before the holiday, and then the world turns off for a couple of days.

I will not be blogging tomorrow, so the next post you will see will be Thursday evening after the holiday.

Chag Sameach,
Enjoy this Gorgeous Los Angeles Weather,
Where ever you are, enjoy your week,
Signing Off,
Coach Yulia
